We collect information you provide directly to us, including your account information, profile details, content you create or share within the app, beauty settings, selected shades, editing requests, generated AI results, and limited device information needed for stability and abuse prevention.
When you use Virtual Makeup or Beauty Filter, Camori processes the photo you select or capture. That photo may include your face, visible facial features, and the relevant facial areas needed for the requested effect, such as lips, eyes, skin texture, and overall facial contours. We also process the shade, filter, or beauty parameters you choose and the generated AI output.
We use face data only to generate the AI result you request, such as a lipstick try-on preview or beauty retouch result. We do not use face data for face recognition, identity verification, advertising, profiling, or marketing.
To provide these AI features, Camori sends the selected photo and relevant feature parameters to Alibaba Cloud DashScope over encrypted connections. This third-party processing is limited to completing the AI beauty function you requested. We do not sell face data or share it with unrelated third parties.
Camori does not store source face photos on its own servers for these AI features. For Virtual Makeup and Beauty Filter, the original photo and generated result are stored only on your device in local beauty history so you can review or delete them later. These on-device records remain until you delete the record, clear local history, delete your account, or remove the app. For AI image-edit requests, Alibaba Cloud DashScope provider task data and returned result URLs may remain available for up to 24 hours before they expire.
Before Camori sends a face photo to Alibaba Cloud DashScope for the first AI beauty request, the app displays a face data consent notice and asks for your permission. Camera and Photo Library access are requested separately through iOS permission prompts.
We use the information we collect to provide and improve our services, personalize your experience, communicate with you about updates and promotions, and ensure the safety and security of our platform.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only with your consent, to comply with legal obligations, to protect our rights and safety, or with service providers who assist us in operating our app under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All supported AI beauty data transmissions are sent over encrypted connections.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can manage your data through the app settings, delete local beauty history inside the app, delete your account, or contact us directly. You may also request a copy of your data or ask us to restrict certain processing activities.
Our services are not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app or via email. Your continued use of Camori after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
